Hi,

Is there somewhere a rest api (or something similar) that I could use to access beancount data. I'm mostly thinking about the ability to run bean-query stuff.

Before I start creating something on my own I'd like to check if there is already something that I could use/extend.
I did some searching but didn't find anything.

Thanks and Regards,
Patrick

You can start bean-query with just a filename, the dataset will be loaded in memory and it will start in interactive mode, and you can then issue multiple queries without parsing all over again.

I haven't built a REST API but it's something if I recall, that the Fava team might have done in order to decouple their UI from the server. Have a look at Fava.

Cheers,
