is there any easy conversion from Ledger to Beancount for Python 3.0 or higher

Hi,
i was wondering if there was any tools for easy conversion from Ledger to Beacount, I notice there is :-

However when I run it I need to import the ledger library( requires Python 3 or up)

There is nothing built-in to convert in that direction.
See contrib doc for other people's projects I know about:

Note: Given a working Python extension module for Ledger, it shouldn't be very difficult to write a converter.

I don't need it any more, since I already converted by hand and macros but it's a commendable effort
