Delete old years/files for improve performance

Hi all,

Long time using and computing finances with beancount.

I have 10 years with 20 files: 10 for general finances and 10 for investments.

general_2013.bean, general_2014.bean...etc.

broker_2013.bean, broker_2014.bean etc.

Computing all takes a lot of time and I would like to reduce all taking out the old years.

For the simple "money" in accounts is not so complicated, I just adjust the first file with the total from the last one with a Equity directive and it's done.

The problem comes with stocks, etc. I need to put at first of the cutting year the past operations and since I have thousand of buys, sells, etc... Becomes really a mess.

I was wondering if somebody was facing this problem and how he/she resolve it.
