Being still a very new user of bazel, I am unclear what, if any, is the "install" step after bazel build completes. I am using python virtual env. I expect that the install step will install the bencount modules and bin scripts in the appropriate locations under the virtual env dir tree

Thanks,
Milind

I haven't figured out the install story of v3 yet.

Please note that currently, unless what you want to hack on Beancount
itself, building Beancount v3 with Bazel does not provide any practical
advantage over installing it with Python setuptools. The Bazel build
definition builds some C++ that will be the foundation of the next
version of Beancount, but it is not yet integrated into the other parts
of the project.

Cheers,
Dan
