Beaglebone Black desktop issue

Hi,

I have installed xfce4 Desktop Environment on BBB REV C, after two days of installtion I am not able to login through desktop environment.

As I try to log in using default ID | password (debian | temppwd), the login page reloads, with no errors for wrong ID or password.

This smells like the modesetting xorg driver, but lacking debug. ;)

Try installing: xserver-xorg-video-fbdev x11-xserver-utils and
configure xorg.conf to use fbdev like shown:

Thank you for replying :)

xserver-xorg-video-fbdev x11-xserver-utils was already installed.

I suspect the problem is with the eMMC memory. I reflashed the BBB REV C with the Debian image. Then after installing xfce4, the eMMC memory reached 91%. And then after installing few more python libraries it reached 100% :(. That's when the login page starting reloading again and again.

Note: I am not using SD card.
