getting root access to lxqt autostart

Hey guys! 

I am running BBB and it starts with a program automatically at boot via the lxqt autostart.

thing is that i need to run the program as root. when i do it manually when the system

is on through the terminal as root everything is running ok.

but when it is running automatically on boot it's probably running as a regular user and it's not working properly like i want.

Is there any way to get it to run as root? 

I am newbe to linux so please try to explain like you are talking to someone who knows nothing :)
