After failing to have a driver for my Netgear A6210, I bought this adapter to have wifi on my BBB: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H95C0A2/, and have quite a struggle to get it to work.  Once it does, it can take time and I sometimes have to re-connect to the network via the network-manager-gnome GUI.

Is there any wireless adapter guaranteed to work on boot up without these headaches?  Thank you so much.

The wicf-gtk tool seems better then network-manager-gnome to connect to wifi.  However, I have problem getting it to connect with set static IP's, either wired or wireless.
