Help with usb bluetooth for beaglebone black

Is it possible to use an usb 3.0 bluetooth stick to make communication beetween the beaglebone black and a pc, i'm actually trying to use the beaglebone black for a mechatronics proyect, using it to communicate via bluetooth to matlab, but so far it has been impossible to pair my PC with the beaglebone black (beaglebone always rejects the connection)

any help, it would be apreciated.
