USB / 5V jack Power, doesnt start wifi on 5V jack power boot

Hi guys

I have installed a wifi-dongle and followed adafruit configuration enabling the wifi-reset service for auto turn-on upon booting the BBB.
The problem is: whenever I boot powering the BBB through usb mini, the wifi system does initiate(OK)
But when I do the same through the 5V jack, it doesn't,

I'm convinced is not a power issue and that the power supply has enough juice for BBB+USB wifi dongle.

Is there any difference on booting powering from USB or 5V jack? (Other than processor speed, power capabilities)?

Which logs might help and how to generate them for you guys to verify?
