Which Webcam works with the BB Blue?

Hello, I'm working on Chapter 5 of the BeagleBone Robotics Projects book.  Right now my webcam is not showing up in the /dev folder.  No matter which one I plug in (Logitech 920 and 720), I don't see any video device show up in that directory.

Is there a specific webcam that works or do I have a defective BBB?  Or is there something I can do to get it to show?

So how are you powering the Beagle? 5vdc right???
