Can't get wifi to work on BBBW.

I can't seem to get anywhere with setting up wifi on my BBBW. I installed latest image (Debian 8.7 2017-03-19 4GB SD IoT )

Whenever i try to any wifi related command with connmanctl i get: Error disabling wifi tethering: Method "SetProperty" with signature "sv" on interface "net.connman.Technology" doesn't exist

Here is what i get from ifconfig:

I tried the image you suggested and i'm getting the same result. No wlan0 in ifconfig and all connmanctl commands fail.

There's the problem ^ eeprom was corrupted when wrote..

"if this is a bbbw"

GND TP1 and run:

sudo dd if=/opt/scripts/device/bone/bbbw-eeprom.dump
of=/sys/devices/platform/ocp/44e0b000.i2c/i2c-0/0-0050/eeprom

then run:

sudo ./version.sh | grep eeprom and it "should" show:

A335BNLTBWA50000BBWG0000

then you can safely reboot ;)

thats the correct eeprom for the bbbw

No 4.9.x-ti is still just really really buggy on wl1835..
