Job Role: Java developer (Full-Stack)
Location: New York
Duration: 6-12 Months
Job Description:
· Design, develop
and maintain clients software systems - primarily written in Java.
· Develop using the
following technologies / concepts: Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Single
Page Applications (SPA), Messaged Based Architecture, Javascript, CSS, UI
frameworks (Node.js, Angular, Backbone, etc.)
· Design, develop
using clients standardized architecture practices (and ensuring that developers
are also following these practices)
· Manage / mentor a
junior developer(s) and ensuring they have opportunities to grow and learn
· Be an active
influencer of evolving application architecture
· Participate in all
aspects of clients agile software development cycle (including scrum processes,
assessment, planning, design, development, testing, and support.)
· Write unit tests,
perform code analysis, and automate common actions in our CI/CD environment
Management responsibilities will include, but are
not limited to:
· Lead a team of
developers to successfully deliver mission critical initiatives
· Work effectively
with project managers, business analysts, and other teams inside and outside of
IT to deliver projects
· Promote Agile/XP
development practices (Test Driven Development, Pair Programming, etc...)
