Hello to all. I recently bought the BBB. Starting with this card, I would like to know some information. My BBB does not have an SD card, but I use only the 4GB eMMC. Linux is already pre-installed on eMMC and I think it's Debian 7.

1- The pre-installed Debian version of which type is: lite or complete ?
2-
If I want to install Debian 8.7 eMMC, how do I proceed? Do I have the SD card or can I use another method ?

Debian wheezy with kernel 3.8.11-bone47 most likely. Should also be the X-Windows image. With in my own opinion. Too much installed on it. But it'll give you a good base to work with until you decide you want to change.

SD card is pretty much required to reflash the onboard eMMC.
