Changing HDMI resolution on x15

I have this nice new HDMI display[1] for my x15, but when I hook it up, nothing displays. How do I change the default resolution on the x15?

at the end of /boot/uEnv.txt you should see a video argument, change
it to 800x480 (also uncomment the #) and reboot..

Thanks for the quick reply. It turns out the resolution is working fine. It's the backlight that isn't working.
