PRU on kernal 4.x

Hello guys,

I was searching for a driver support to use the PRUs on Beaglebone for a soft uart. All i was able to see the TI example on kernal 3.2 and there is the TI PRUSS driver for kernal 3.8

is the pru driver support still available for kernals 4.x? and is there any documentation for soft uart implementation on the BBB with kernal 4.x?
