Hello,

I know there is a lot going on in the development world right now.

...

Does the MotorCape still work on the 4GB SD IoT image on http://beagleboard.org/latest-images?

I have some source I was trying to use w/ radio buttons via html and flask w/ Adafruit_BBIO.

The source used to work. I have not been able to figure out why it does not work any longer.

If things are changing and dev. need whatever to take place, okay. I would still like to harden some learned skills from the past and promote those skills now currently.

Hello Again,

I found this idea online on github:  https://github.com/beagleboard/bb.org-overlays/blob/master/src/arm/BBORG_MOTOR-00A2.dts . Should I compile this .dts file or just add the .dtbo in the /boot/uEnv.txt file? I guess either/or, I can try it out.

Seth

P.S. If this is it and if I just need to compile or load the .dtbo file in /boot/uEnv.txt, awesome!

Hello Again and Sorry,

The BBB, BBBW both need a barrel jack supply plugged in for the MotorCape to work properly. Without this supply feeding board power to these boards, the MotorCape is held unresponsive on motor control. The LEDs work but the motors will not display any movement.

Seth

P.S. Sorry for this elongated effort on ideas remembered. I do not even think I need the  .dtbo file in the /boot/uEnv.txt file to run this Cape b/c of the Cape being handled by EEPROM. Sheesh...
