Testing Beaglebone black images in an automated fashion

I have customised a BBB image using the console image. This includes configurations and additional software packages installed. I have written some software tests as well.

Question: how should I have the BBB as part of a continuous integration and auto test environment workflow where a new BBB image that I built off a console image gets booted and the tests are auto ran?

There seems to be LAVA[1] and Fuego[2] that are used. Has anyone used it with BBB? 

Happy if I can learn some pointers.
