Debian SD Card Boot Revision A6 BBB

I'm at a loss.

Is it possible to boot an A6 (or A6A) revision BBB from the SD Card reader?

The instructions I've followed from online sources, for creating u-boot and writing out an image, don't seem to make sense in the context of my old board.

I'm suppose to press the boot button after powerup to switch to the SD Card?

Hi.

Following link should be more helpful (check STEP 10).

I tried yesterday, I press 'boot mode' button and connect Power, release button after about 10 seconds.

Try holding the boot button down WHILE APPLYING power
