im looking for a wiring diagram to attach a stepper driver to bbb to drive a stepper motor is there any information out there

BBB can generate digital sygnals that will drive current amplifiers
that the stepper motor requires. Is that what you have in mind?

There're different types of stepper motors available. The most easy to start with is an unipolar motor, which needs the most simple driver hardware (one Darlington Transistor per phase). Find an example (wiring diagram and software) at http://users.freebasic-portal.de/tjf/Projekte/libpruio/doc/html/_cha_examples.html#SubSecExaStepper.

thank you for your replies tjf yes i have a a4988 driver to drive 1 stepper im new to all this so my goal is to learn from basic things like the led tutorial and use what things i have available without buying out yet
