BeagleBone Black LCD Not Working?

Hi everyone,

So I have a display that I purchased with my BeagleBone Black and I can't seem to figure out why the LCD isn't displaying anything.

I've connected all of the LCD_DATA lines (0 - 23) as per the BBB manual and the 4 control lines, (hsync, vsync, clk, en) but still nothing :(

Is there a specific overlay I need to use?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
