Some information is hard to get when googling.
1. Which bbr version is integrated into the linux kernel?
2. Is this version a good choice for laptop wifi?

As long as this is Linux 5.1 or later, then yes, the performance should be fine. (See here for details on why you want kernel 5.1 or later.)
