FTPS (FTP over TLS)

Hi there,

I there a way to connect to an FTP host via FTPS over TLS (not SFTP), in BBEdit?

I have quite a few providers that prefer to offer FTPS/TLS ... there probably would have to be a way to acknowledge a certificate, that does not match the domain name for this to work ...

A tool that supports FTP over TLS and works well with BBEdit is Transmit.

As another alternative, Cyberduck supports both FTPS connections
and editing in BBEdit:

Hey,

Fetch also supports both FTPS and BBE remote editing.

(Is ist old school to still use Fetch? ; )

It would be nice to be able to do it in BBE alone, but of course that is a decent workaround.

That, or connecting via FTP.
