Relative path in webpages

Hi and good day,

1st. I understand that relative paths are best practice.

2nd. On our site, relative paths don't work:

this relative path doesn’t work:

<img src="../d/dm/_imgdm/image.png">

This did work formerly…

also not this one:

<img src="/d/dm/_imgdm/image.png">

However the (complete) url is fine:

http://www.mywebsite.org/d/dm/_imgdm/image.png

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

This was probably due to some older, decrepit HTML editor, which I used before glorious BBEdit!
