Restore to space

When my computer restarts BBEdit always restores the windows to the right size and location on the screen but it does not restore them to the same space. It always stacks up all of the windows on the first space (and does not minimize any of the windows that were minimized when the computer restarted). Is it possible to make BBEdit restore windows to the correct macOS Space?
