How can BBEdit upload file 'directly' when opened correct subfolder?

Hi and good day,

My site has a few subdirectories.

Often I've to do some repairs/ updates in different subdirectories.

So if I'm updating file xxx.html in root/abc/xyz/xxx.html

and before I was in folder root/mnb/pkd/…

BBEdit doesn't let me update at once to root/abc/xyz/xxx.html, instead I have to manually select the relevant folder/subfolder. ?!

How can BBEdit let me upload the file 'directly' when I opened it in the correct subfolder anyways?

Could be the reason for the above that I was working on 2 different projects - although the same site?!

Is each of your sub-folders in a difference project? If so, why not put the whole website in one project?

Yes, I put some of the most important sub-folders in a different project for purely better visuality, because those sub-folders have many files.

I thought it shouldn't impact BBEdit's functionality… but who knows?
