I need to do a multi-file search using Grep of all the files in a folder. I looked in BBEdit Help and could not find how to do that.

Thanks,

Press Command-Option-f to bring up the Multi-File Search box.

Then you can choose the folder you want to search

D’oh - my fingers know what to press, but didn’t tell my brain properly…

Command-Shift-f

It’s the 2nd item in the Find menu

Please instead refer to the included (and comprehensive :-) PDF
user manual, which you can access at any time via Help -> User Manual.

Multi-file searches are covered in Chapter 7 "Searching", while
you can find complete details (including some examples) on how
to use grep patterns in Chapter 8 "Searching with Grep".
