BBEdit future: subscription only?

@ the BBEdit devs: I read your announcement of the return to the MAS, and the non-optional subscription price model there.

So, please allow me one question: Do you have plans to make BBEdit subscription-*only* (also out of the MAS) in the future?

If Yes, then please tell me now, so that I can jump off the train by time.

[Explanation: I’m seriously tired of subscriptions left and right. There are some inevitable subscriptions, like the Microsoft and Adobe crap you need for work with your clients. But BBEdit by nature doesn’t have such a monopoly position. So, trying to hit me with a subscription price model will be unsuccessful. No matter how much I love BBEdit, and no matter to how many people I have recommended this great editor over the years/decades. Would be a major bummer, yes, I know.]
