Bash Syntax Highlighting

Why has Bash syntax highlighting stop working?

Syntax highlighting works if the file has a '.sh' extension, but not otherwise.

The syntax highlighting used to show either way.

Is this a new option hidden somewhere?

I'm on BBEdit 13.0.1.

Are you running Catalina?

I noticed that a machine that I upgraded said it was now running
Zsh instead of Bash. Didn't have time to look into it.

Could that be the problem?

I'm still running Mojave but have recently upgraded BBEdit and was wondering if something had changed in the app settings.

What makes this weirder is that on further investigation it's only happening to some of my extension-less bash files. Weird.
