AppleScript to update a local document root

Hi Folks

A few days ago, I installed PHP (8.1) with macports on my Mac to test a particular website locally on my Mac. After a few changes I was completely annoyed by copying every change from my BBEdit project tree to the local document root.

So I wrote this little AppleScript which also may help others:

display alert "bash message: \n" message myResult as informational giving up after 5

Save this file to the AppleScript folder of BBEdit and in the preferences set a shortcut to execute this script. ⇨ Voila!
