Upgrade gRPC to newer version?

Hi Bazel devs!

I wonder why Bazel is still using gRPC 0.15? This is almost 1 year behind. Can we upgrade this to a more recent version?

Is this more appropriate to ask in bazel-dev forum? However I see much less activity there..
