Generation Gap 代溝

My father taught me to give up my seat to anyone who needed it more than me.  That good advice has served me well my entire adult life.  I have been repaid many times over with smiles from strangers.

OK Michael, that's lovely.

Then, next step is, we need to think: have we taught our next generation to give up his/her seat to anyone who needed it more than him/her. Or perhaps we've surrendered control to mobile phone software, causing them to lose their humanity, just like in this picture? Furthermore, Perhaps humanity has vanished with our generation?
