3D scanner use cases and equipment recommendations

Does anybody use a 3D scanner in your spaces? If so, which scanner do you have and how do you use it with your students?

Hi there,

I recommend Polycam, 3D scanning app. Much more affordable, works with and without LIDAR and produces high-res CAD that can easily get cleaned up for printing. We used this software this summer for scanning in climbing hand holds and then printing them.

Thanks for sharing Anne. I will explore that app and report back. Did you all design a climbing wall for your school?
