bareos tray monitor not working on Server 2008

Hi,

 

Wanted to report that the tray monitor from Release 20 does not start and references an issue with kernel32.dll on Windows Server 2008(6.0) Std. SP2, 64bit OS and bareos package.

The bareos-sd service itself works. With 19.2.6 both SD and Tray are OK.

 

"The procedure entry point RaiseFailFastException could not be located in dynamic link libary KERNEL32.dll."

Hi Sascha,

Support for Windows Server 2008 ended in January 2020. I don't think
we'll fix issues that only occur on EOL systems.
You'll have to run an older version of Bareos there.

If you can reproduce the issue on a supported version of Windows (i.e.
at least Windows Server 2012), we will consider this a bug.
