24.0.1-pre 27 - impossible to do full backup

since update to the version in question, i'm unable to do full backups. Nothing else changed in the infrastructure.
I have no clear picture yet. Sometimes the job cancels with the infamous "nothing send from FD" errors or today without any error reporting at all on server side.
The backup runs a long time (12 TB full - sometimes until 6TB or 9TB)
I've enabled -d 200 on client side and got this today
It states "failed to append". I must say, this was a fresh bareos db initialization without any stored backup files....

HI Markus,

it looks like your storage daemon is running into some trouble during
the backup.
Could you also do a debug trace on the storage daemon ?  You should also
check `journalctl` to see if the storage daemon wrote any messages there.
