Fatal error: Failed to flush device

Hello Bareos Community,

Does any of you know what does below error mean :

Fatal error: Failed to flush device" 
####
The error is raised by storage daemon after finish backup job. Device is S3 bucket.

28-Jun 10:56 storage_sd JobId 47: Releasing device "<my_s3_bucket_name>" .
28-Jun 10:56 storage_sd  JobId 47: Fatal error: Failed to flush device  "<my_s3_bucket_name>"" .

The problem was solved by adding proper ACL to S3 storage configuration.
The tricky part is that Bareos was quite silent about this problem during backup operation.
"Failed to flush device tells nothing". Is there any way to say Bareos to be more verbose during storage operation on S3.

Hi, 

I am on AWS and trying to store on the S3, and i got the same error, can you help me on how did you manage to solve it ? 
Can you tell me what do you mean by adding proper ACL, thanks !!

Hi, I also couldn’t understand about ACL for a long time. I ended up adding a standard ACL (acl = private) to the Device Options (storage daemon).
