spooling and despooling

Dear all

I have set Spool Data = yes and a spool storage of 10 GB. Now, bareos is first spooling 10 GB, than writing 10 GB, then spooling again. Is it possible to configure baroes to first spool, and then despool the temporarily stored to tape while continue to spool new data ?

That is the current behavior. I would also like that functionality, esp as you add many clients,

There was a patch someone made but it looks like a larger refactor effort is going on and it’s not clear when that should be expected. Last update was July.
