Hello,
we are running Bareos 19.2.7-2 on Ubuntu 18.04.
The tape drive is a TANDBERG LTO-5.
Our problem is, that Bareos requests the next tape, but pressing the button at the drive doesn't allow us to change the tape. We first have to stop the storage daemon, change the tape and than start the daemon again.
Is there an error in the configuration of the device:

Device {
  Media Type = LTO5
  Name = Tape
  Archive Device = /dev/tape/by-id/scsi-35001438031af8f46-nst
  Drive Index = 0
  Spool Directory = /bacula-spool
  LabelMedia = yes;
  Random Access = no;
  AutomaticMount = yes;
  RemovableMedia = yes;
  Description = "LTO5 device."
}

Thanks for any hints or suggestions,

Ralf

Here is what I do

Bconsole
Umount storage=tape

Bash
Mt -f /dev/nst0 eject

Put in new tape

Bconsole
Mount storage=tape

Basically never found bareos to release the drive when it needs a new tape.
