Bareos Transfer Droplet (s3)

When bareos transfers the data to s3 is it going from client machine straight to s3 or does the transport first go to bareos server then s3?

We are facinng an issue while taking a backup to S3. Please find the below error and screenshots, let us know how to fix the issue.
