Parallel install

Hello everyone,

We are using Bareos 16 and we want to migrate to version 20.

What we were thinking is to install a new Bareos director, connect it to our storages add our clients and run  parallel backups for 15 days until we can remove our old director

However, I can not make version 20 connect with SD version 16 and same with FD version 16.

I was wondering if there is compatibility or if not I should find a different aproach

Director and Storage Daemon must run at the same version.

But Director version 20 should be able to work with FD version 16.
