Hello! Getting back from to old (not too old v17.2) test implementation which didn't get on due to heavy backlog and I am getting back to the idea of revisiting an new implementation based on the latest releases. I see there is no obvious release of the user reference available in pdf or maybe an epub format. I saw the rst structure in place and the generated html published in docs.bareos.org. Can anybody suggest if someone is maintaining the pdf versions or had a successful export to a printable version. I am favouring the pdf format as I need to take handwritten notes in the various sections. Greetings!

Found this 18.2 reference which is also browsable via parent browsing folders here so I suppose this is ok!

This has not yet happened, as our Sphinx Build-Process does not (yet)
generate PDFs. There's somebody working on this from time to time, but
if you really need it, you could try for yourself.
As far as I can tell it should be sufficient to make the build working
using sphinx-versions instead of sphinxcontrib-versioning.

According to a Note [1] in their docs, you can just make it generate
PDFs with it.

Best Regards,
Andreas

Hello, thank you very much for the follow-up! I will have a look at the sphinx library, also good of course to have a look at the programming guidelines, can you please confirm whether the current published pdf version for v18.2  is valid? Should someone be cautious about something in terms of deprecated sections or possible other sections not included in the content of the pdf?

with kind regards!
Athanasios

Apologies for coming back to the original question as I am currently seeking a current workaround solution for the reference in pdf format. Is pdf file of release 18.2 found here actually valid and to what extent outdated or inaccurate if not valid?

with kind regards
Athanasios
