Hello all :)

i've setuped bareos successfully on UCS 4.4.2. bareos replaces backuppc. Machines they should be backuped are Ubuntu's, Windows and UCS. So i've configured the backup. I have written a documentation in my wiki: https://deepdoc.at/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=prebuilt_systems:ucs:einrichtung_bareos_backuploesung  The docs are not ready, that i can write this in the howtoarea in UCS. I need some information that i can understand how bareos works. Note again, I come from backuppc ;)

Current situation: I configured the systems to be backuped. That has worked for about 2 Weeks. Now bareos say to me "Cannot find any appendable volumes." Ok so i give more space to the volume over bconsole. But strange thing, the errormessage is the same. And volumes are like this:

So first thing/fix. It is enough space. What now?
Second question, i do not understand how bareos works with space, volumes, time, .... really, i is very confused for me. So what is my/us goal here?

We have some Servers/Clients/VM's, i would like to say, i would have my backups 30 days back. I configured this, and ready. No max volumes, no special space. It should not be depend on the backupspace. If this is not possible. How can i setup the system to overright the first backupversion after the backuppool/space is full?

And third thing: I have not read yet that i can configure an dynamic timeplan. So that if a workstation is a longer time (about 3 days) not online that the backup starts if the machine is reachable. Not a fix time.

Thanks a lot and best regards
