I would like to build baros from source code. but I don’t see the manuals on the site ... and in the source code downloaded from git there is no configuration script. How to do it?

Starting with 18.2 Bareos uses cmake instead of autoconf. So there's no
need for a configure script anymore.
You just use cmake instead.
