Always Incremental virtual full consolidation is taking the same size as previous full

Hi everyone,

I just configured always incremental backup one month ago on a 7TB client.

Now that the first consolidation job has been launched I see that a virtual full backup starts and is taking several TB like the full backup. I only have a 12TB storage that becomes full before the virtual full backup is done. Is it the "normal" behavior to have temporarily two full backups at consolidation ?

I was hoping that always incremental backup may help me to backup at least a month of data with incremental once a day and consolidation only merging oldest incremental with full backup.
