Consolidate Jobs and Allow Duplicate Jobs Bug?

I added

Allow Duplicate Jobs = no

To my JobDefaults that most of my jobs are built on.

If my Consolidate job for AI jobs was built on that same JobDefaults it would fail with:

19-Mar 18:44 myth-dir JobId 2430: Fatal error: JobId 2429 already running. Duplicate job not allowed.


If I tried to override it by putting
Allow Duplicate Jobs = yes

In the Consolidate job it would still throw the error. It was only after I move the Consolidate job from using the same Job Def did Consolidate jobs start working again.

Just kinda odd, both that it causes Consolidate to fail, and that I could not override it from the JobDefaults in the Job it’s self and work.

Anyway I didn’t debug it to carefully sharing here more for others.

Have same problem on newest Bareos 19.2.6

I want to create incremental every 6h, but first full backup takes approximately 10h. While next incremental runs, its queued with full with info:

bareos-dir JobId 65: No prior or suitable Full backup found in catalog. Doing FULL backup.

With "Allow Duplicate Jobs = no"  consolidation Job wont start:

bareos-dir JobId 13: Fatal error: JobId 12 already running. Duplicate job not allowed.

I tried to move "Allow Duplicate Jobs = no" to JobDefs of AlwaysIncremental job, and "Allow Duplicate Jobs = no" to JobDefs according to Consolidate job but still have same problem.

But still without solution. I tried to solve this by setting different job priority (incremental and consolidation) but as far as I understand, VirtualFull has same priority as Consolidation Job.

Do you have any idea how to cancel overlaping incremental job without "Allow Duplicate Jobs = no" ?
