Hi everybody

I've been using Bareos since it forked from bacula. And the server
configuration did not change over the last months.
But after the upgrade from 18.2.5 to 19.2.6, the backups fail quite often.
It seems that this happens mainly with older 17.x clients.

Does someone of you know of a work-around for this?

Handshake was clear text and encryption off.
I used to have a maximum concurrent jobs setting of 20 in the storage
resource of the SD.
I've disabled this now but it does not seem to have any effect.

Regards,

Martin

Hi Martin,

this is a known Bug with the backwards compatibility and a fix is on the
way for 18.2 and 19.2.

See https://bugs.bareos.org/view.php?id=1192 for more details.

Best Regards,
Andreas
