Hello.

Kind of makes no real sense to me, but I've tested diligently. I have one of my Windows 11 workstations that keeps losing network access during its backup. I've validated that this wasn't just an illusion by disabling its backup. Doing so, the workstation doesn't lose access to the network anymore.

If I try to perform a manual backup (unscheduled I mean), the workstation loses access to the network on every occasion after a certain amount of time.

I have disabled Firewall on the workstation to make sure it wasn't a side effect of it, but the network keeps dropping.   I'm kind of out of options.....

Does that rings a bell, anyone?

Workstation fd client is 24.0.2~pre41.988426cda
Director version is 23.0.1~pre7.606b211eb

Windows version is Windows 11 Professionnal

Hi Christian, while I have no idea about what's happening in your case,
You might want to try to run the job with debug level set to 200 on all component. Maybe the trace will reveal more.

You can start debug just before the job and stop it after

setdebug level=200 trace=1 timestamp=1 all
