Hi,
since last week I can see some connection problems to newer systems.
Some times the backup is working, some times not and the error is a ssl
error.
"bareos-sd JobId 8245: Fatal error: Connect failure:
ERR=error:14094410:SSL routines:ssl3_read_bytes:sslv3 alert handshake
failure"
This happens only to servers with the latest packages.
First idea was to check the changelogs.
We use rpm based systems and normally i would do a "rpm -q --changelog
rpm_name.rpm" :
If I do this with the bareos rpms i get this:
[root@repo ~]# rpm -q --changelog bareos-filedaemon
* Tue Sep 26 2023 Bareos Jenkins <
nor...@bareos.com> -
22.1.1~pre119.1cb7ef4a1-96
- See
https://docs.bareos.org/release-notes/
-> Release Notes it's not up2date because it is for the paid files.
If i follow the link to the GitHub Branch I do not know where I have to
look for the changelog infos. I see a lot of branches, with different
pull requests.
First thinking was that 1cb7ef4a1 from the rpm name is a GitHub pull
request number but i did not found it. Second try was to look into the
actions but i can see a lot of MacOS based actions but not rpm builds ....
Can someone give me a hint how to get these infos?
Best
Silvio
