Hello

I am using the Percona plug-in to backup a database. I get an error as shown:

[ERROR] [MY-011825] [Xtrabackup] Please upgrade PXB, if a new version is available. To continue with risk, use the option --no-server-version-check.

According to the docs, if I want to modify the command, I need to use dumpoptions:
  • dumpoptions to modify the options for XtraBackup. Default setting is: --backup --datadir=/var/lib/mysql/ --stream=xbstream --extra-lsndir=/tmp/individual_tempdir

However, it's not clear to me where that goes. I assume it is with the fileset conf:

 Plugin = "python"
    ":module_path=/usr/lib/bareos/plugins"
    ":module_name=bareos-fd-percona-xtrabackup"
    ":mycnf=/root/.my.cnf"
    ":dumpoptions="--no-server-version-check"

But when I re-run, the command doesn't change.

Help is appreciated.

Thank you.

Further to this, the plugin has many restrictions and doesn't support MySQL 8.0.29 or higher at all, according to docs.

The bareos-filedaemon-mysql plugin appears to have disappeared.

Does anyone have any working solutions to backing up MySQL?

Thanks.
