Interest in gsoc 2025

Hey there, 
I am a final year engineering student, majoring in computer science. I have previously been a part of LFX mentorship program and season of KDE, and also interend in a gsoc project named Keploy. I am interested in participating in gsoc 2025 as a mentee in bareos.

I would like to know what would be the next steps ? are there any easy tickets that I can work on to get familiar with the codebase, as I couldn't find issues labelled with good-first-issue on bareos main github repo ? Also what is the priority for each of the proposed ideas ?

thanks a lot for your interest in Bareos and Google Summer of Code 2025.

You probably noticed that we applied as mentoring organization in 2024.
We will apply again this year and hope to be accepted this time.

Indeed there's probably no easy good first issue at https://github.com/bareos/bareos/issues,
most required advanced knowledge. But we have some labelled "internship":

Anyway, first step to get started is being able to set up a testing system and gain a basic
understanding of how Bareos works.
