MySQL 8.033 backup with xtrabackup

Hi,


we have a MySQL 8.0.33 server running and every test to get the backup
running failed with something like this:


Fatal error: python3-fd-mod: Dump command returned non-zero value: 1,
command: "xtrabackup
--defaults-extra-file=/root/.config/bareos/bareos.my.cnf --backup
--stream=xbstream --extra-lsndir=/tmp/tmp15_2res6"


So I tested the command direct on the commandline and ...

My question is, where can I add the

--no-server-version-check

option because with this option the backup is running.
If I add this into the client config file it will be ignored.

There's a parameter to the plugin called "extradumpoptions". You should
be able to pass the parameter there.
However, Xtrabackup 8.0.33 was released yesterday, so maybe it is better
to just upgrade to that.
